A fresh digital look for Asturias
Asturias.es is an initiative by the Government of Asturias, Spain. The website is designed to provide citizens with the latest news from their region or town, all in one click.
The government wanted a collection of illustrations for each topic on the website, such as Education and Sports, Culture, and Industry and Energy, among others.
To create a sense of closeness and trust with users, these illustrations should beautifully celebrate Asturian culture and highlight the region’s most iconic and well-known landscapes.
Challenge
Creating a collection of 64 digital illustrations for the new Mi Principado website and social media channels. To ensure a strong visual identity, only the vibrant colors of the Asturian flag, blue and yellow, among their various shades and tones, were used to bring these scenes to life.
